Grandma Rosalee Visit

Liam took to the road this week to visit his Great Grandma Rosalee in Post Falls, Idaho. It’s about a six hour drive for us and Liam did a great job – although he is a bit of a back seat driver. Liam saw all kinds of things along the way – mostly farmland.

Liam slept most of the way. The car has a magical way of putting him to sleep instantly.

Liam did wake up to see the Petrified Forest. He asked me, “Mom, why is the forest scared?” I didn’t know, do you?

Liam liked this cool bridge, crossing the mighty Columbia River.

We saw wild horses running along the horizon. . . well not really, it’s a monument, but it sounded good.

We saw lots of these, John Deere tractors, big trucks and cows.

The most exciting part, was of course, when we arrived in Post Falls. Great Grandma Rosalee was so excited to see Liam and, after sitting in his car seat for six hours, Liam was thrilled to see someone other than me and his dad.

He gave Grandma Rosalee hug as soon as he saw her.

Liam and Grandma really see eye to eye.

Grandma shows Liam how to pet Sadie. Liam ended up pulling a handful of hair out of Sadie’s backside, but she didn’t seem to mind.

Liam gives Grandma a big kiss – he sure loves giving her kisses. I asked for one and he ignored me.

Liam enjoyed playing “this little piggy went to the market” with Great Grandma Rosalee.

This is Miss Emma, Liam’s cousin, and her mom Betsy.

Liam had so much fun, he didn’t want to leave. Since we’ve returned home, he started doing the grouch face – which includes sniffing in and out really loudly. We aren’t sure if he has something up his nose or he’s just mad we left Great Grandmas, we think it’s the latter.
