I can’t believe it’s been more than 1.5 months since my last post. I suppose time flies when you are having fun – which is exactly what we’ve been doing this summer. Hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of things and update regularly from here on out.
You see I was considering switching to a different blog provider, one that would be easier to upload photos to. So I hemmed and hawed, played around with it, and I’m still not sure what I want to do, but I realized I’ve been leaving you hanging. I will try not to do that again. . .

Liam became famous in the Washington farm world today, as he’s the cover model for their latest quarterly magazine, Neighbors. I have written for the last few issues of the magazine on a freelance basis, but this is the first time they’ve used my photos AND my photos just happen to be of Liam.

Ever since we went to our first Mariner’s game a few weeks ago, Liam talks non-stop about the “moose”. He was so excited to go to another game and to meet the moose. We went to another game this past week and Liam finally met the moose in person. . .

Yesterday was Jeremy’s first full day home from school and the summer can now officially begin. We have lots planned for the summer so we spent yesterday just hanging out around the house. We have done a few things this past week, so I’ve got some new photos to share. . .

In another attempt to try to bring in some income while being home with Liam (and to have an excuse to get crafty), I’ve set up an online store through Etsy.
This Web retail site is only for handmade items, craft supplies or vintage items – so it’s much more specific than say eBay. It’s a very cool place to browse and it’s always great to buy homemade.

I suppose I have to apologize for my lack of June posts. When you are busy having fun and enjoying the summer weather, updating the blog seems to be less appealing. However, I want you to keep visiting and we have lots of good photos and stories to share, so please continue to come back – I’ll keep updating and I’ll try to be more diligent.

Halibut, sunsets, bald eagles, graduation, family – until I’m able to do a real blog post, check out the photos of our Alaska trip in slideshow format online.

I have some awesome photos and stories to share with you about our trip to Alaska. But unfortunately I don’t have my photo editing software restored on my computer (after it crashed right before I left on vacation). So I won’t be able to post photos and stories until I get back to town. Check back next Monday and/or Tuesday for some great pics and fun tales (some of which are the fish kind!).

We are getting ready to list our house on the market and we are putting the final touches on it this weekend. Grandpa Rick helped us out by bringing a truck full of beauty bark over. I don’t know what Liam was more excited for – seeing Grandpa Rick or a truck full of “dirt”.
