Take me out to the ball game

This past Sunday we went to a Mariner’s baseball game up in Seattle. This was Liam’s first major league baseball experience and he LOVED it!

He wasn’t sure what to think about all the people and the loud noises, but for the most part he was all smiles!

Liam hearts the cart

This week we stopped by the Bayview grocery store in Olympia and instead of me pushing the cart and leading the way, Liam took charge and did the shopping.

Peek-a-poo

This is a random post of Liam on the toilet playing peek-a-boo. You might read a magazine or a book, but for a kid who can’t read yet, there isn’t much to entertain him. I thought the photos were cute, so although the subject matter isn’t exactly dinner table talk, I wanted to share the pics.

Merry Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a fun-filled evening with too much food and too many presents.

Liam started off a little shy, but it wasn’t long before he was hamming it up. He wasn’t sure about the presents at first, but before too long, he figured those out.

Let it snow, let it snow. . .

We woke up yesterday to a nice sprinkling of snow! We didn’t get to play in it as much as we wanted, but Liam did get to check it out. He would stick his finger in it and then giggle. It was cute!

Today was another big milestone in the life of Liam. Chocolate. Chocolate pudding. It was amusing and it was very evident that he enjoyed it. There is no turning back now. . .

Uh-oh, Cheerios and other randomness

Liam is getting to be quite the big boy. It seems like everyday he is doing something new and usually interesting. Just this week I started giving him cheerios in a bowl with milk and a spoon. I did this because he refused to eat cheerios dry and scattered across his highchair, like he’s done for the last 8 months! I don’t blame him, plain dry cheerios are boring and bland – both of which he is not.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Whew! What a busy week it’s been. I apologize for the lack of postings, we’ve been busy!

In a nutshell this weekend included Seahawks, turkey, shopping, lint, laughter, dancing, a parade, Santa and strawberry milkshakes! I hardly know where to start. . .

Liam talks. . .a lot

At almost 16 months old, Liam is quite the talker. I have no idea who he gets it from. He has an interesting vocabulary and it seems like he is learning new words every day! After eating a huge banana, Liam and I had a nice conversation the other morning. Watch the video and hear it for yourself. . .
