My postings usually revolve around an event or outing of some kind, so you never really get the real news of what’s happening with us. Hopefully this post will bring you up to speed. . .

Ugly Sweaters Unite!
December 7, 2008
Last night we invited our friends over for an ugly sweater party, holiday gathering and white elephant gift exchange. Everybody wore the ugliest sweater they could find, including Liam.

Coupon fanatic mentioned in local paper
October 26, 2008
In today’s Olympian paper there is an article on families saving money “Troubled Economy Squeezes Families.” The article, on page eight, highlights several local families pinching pennies and making changes to stretch the family budget. My blog and crazy coupon antics were mentioned in a sidebar on page nine!

A birthday with boatloads of sushi
September 4, 2008
So yesterday (Sept. 3) I turned 28 years old. What better way to celebrate than with a boatload of sushi?
Jeremy and I went to dinner at Sushi Boat, a sushi restaurant that serves all-you-can-eat sushi on floating boats!

I admit it, I’m addicted to coupons
August 20, 2008
Paying full price for something makes me nauseous. If it’s not FREE or at least half off, I usually won’t buy it unless I have to. I’m a sucker for a deal and I’m not kidding, we have saved hundreds this year with our coupons.

We have all recovered
August 19, 2008
Between Liam’s surgery last Tuesday, Jeremy and I getting the flu/food poisoning last Friday and this past weekend being in the mid-90s, I’d say we have finally recovered from all that ails us. Liam is doing exceptionally well and I can safely say that he’s back to his old rambunctious, mischievous self. Here are some highlights from our weekend.

We are sick, sick people
August 15, 2008After a night of restless sleep, Jeremy and I both woke up sicker than dogs this morning. We both feel miserable and we took turns worshipping the porcelain god. Liam, even with his surgery wounds, seems to be in the best shape of all of us. We aren’t sure why we are sick. It might be the raw chicken we had for lunch yesterday (just kidding). It probably has something to with the IRS, I’ll blame them (also just kidding). It’s suppose to be 92 degrees today (wish I was kidding), should be a fun one.

Four years of marriage – today!
July 10, 2008
Happy Anniversary to Jeremy and me as we’ve been married four years today. Time has gone by so fast, it’s hard to believe. Technically we’ve been together for seven years as we started dating the beginning of my senior year at PLU.
Before I had even knew his name, I noticed what nice legs he had and that he was always doing laundry. He lived on the guys wing, just down the hall from my dorm room in Foss Hall. We started hanging out because we ended up having mutual friends. In particularly, Jeremy ended up rooming with Brian G who I just happen to be a high school friend of mine from Fairbanks. When we first met we were both in other relationships but over time those dissolved and we started hanging out more and more together – what a good match we have made.
We got married July 10, 2004 in Steilacoom, WA at the old town hall. It was a beautiful day and the wedding and reception were perfect. We honeymooned in Maui and had a fabulous time. Life, and marriage, has been very good to us. We feel very blessed to have each other and now, Liam. We make a good team. Jeremy still has stunning legs and he continues to do the bulk of the laundry. Check out some fun photos.
