We went to the Clarke Superbowl party at Aunt Chris and Uncle Dan’s house. Liam had a lot of fun seeing everybody and of course. . .eating.
With grandparents and aunts/uncles around, he definitely gets spoiled with sugary treats. I could protest, but it would do little good.=)
Yesterday we went to Aunt Chris and Uncle Dan’s house for an exciting Seahawks party. They really know how to host a heck of a football shin dig and we always have fun with them. Although the Seahawks lost the game in overtime, we still had fun.
Liam is much more involved this football season than he was last year. He held up the “Go Seahawks” sign and was mesmerized by the big screen TV. Although he shouldn’t be watching TV, we often make an exception for football. I only hope it’s not rotting his developing brain.
Last night we went to our first high school football game of the season, Timberline High School vs. Tumwater High School. Jeremy is the offensive line coach for Timberline. Timberline ended up losing 34 to 27, but we still had fun.
Liam had a lot of fun and stayed up three hours past his bedtime! He jumped across the laps of Uncle Dan, Grandpa Rick, Grandma Melinda, Aunt Chris and me.
Liam was reading Jeremy’s Special Teams book tonight. He seemed intrigued and he read it for quite a while. Longer than he reads most of his board books.
I guess he’s studying up for the day he plays football or is his dad’s assistant coach. We are secretly hoping that he becomes a kicker.
