My new Etsy shop. . .

June 18, 2009

Scrabble_BirdIn another attempt to try to bring in some income while being home with Liam (and to have an excuse to get crafty), I’ve set up an online store through Etsy.

This Web retail site is only for handmade items, craft supplies or vintage items – so it’s much more specific than say eBay. It’s a very cool place to browse and it’s always great to buy homemade.

You can see my store at: http://agreenmum.etsy.com. I have big plans to add more baby quilts and necklace pendants – but I listed 19 items yesterday when I set up the shop up. It’s kind of fun. I hope you check back often. As a friend or family member, if you see something you like, let me know!

If you want a venue to sell your crafts, this site rocks. It’s free to set up a store, it only costs 20 cents to list an item for four months and they only take 3 percent when you sell – so very cheap compared to sites like eBay or Amazon.

p.s. Just in case you are keeping track – yes, we’re still running our online bookstore (but books are getting harder to find), I’m still doing freelance writing work (but work is getting harder to find), I’m still offering my coupon classes (but most of them are scheduled for fall), and I’m still a Pampered Chef consultant (I need to spend more time on this!).  Yes, I know, I’m crazy – but at least I can say I’m having fun, at least most days.
