Liam hits the gym. . .BabyGym

Today was Liam’s first day at BabyGym. He pumped some iron and ran a mile on the treadmill!
Just kidding, BabyGym is just a place with a lot of mats, toys and other kids. It’s twice a week, for an hour at a time. The kids are 12-18 months old and they play, interact, have circle time, sing and other age-appropriate things. Liam had such a great time.
It was interesting for me to see him interact with the other kids. I thought he would be shy and stick to my side, but heck no! He was like a bull in a china shop. He was running everywhere, playing with other kids and even tried to give another kid a kiss!
I think it’s good that he is outgoing but I had to be careful because I didn’t want him making the other kids feel uncomfortable. Overall I think he did okay. I am so happy I signed him up for this – it’s a great opportunity to get out of the house and do something just for Liam. He is always so good about running errands and going grocery shopping with me – but this is his time and I think it will be really special to share it with him.
