Novelty of non-toys
April 25, 2008Fancy-smancy, super-dooper, state-of-the-art toys. . . don’t waste your money folks. Liam loves anything that isn’t a toy. I’m calling them non-toys. Being the cheap. . . err, frugal, person that I am, I appreciate, that he appreciates non-toys.
Pots, pans, spoons, ribbons, containers, keys, socks and underwear (okay, not really underwear) – he doesn’t discriminate, as long as it isn’t one of his toys. I’m probably breaking all kinds of parenting rules by giving him non-toys, but I have to admit – it’s entertaining to see him entertained by something as simple as a coffee can. On a totally separate note, we can’t figure out why he’s not sleeping these days and he seems a bit jittery. . .

At least I wont be the only coffee adict in the family anymore!!!
Coffee cans make the greatest toys! aside to maybe pots and pans
